Overview:

I’m developing a digital media site centered around a monthly podcast and playlist series. I’m looking for a developer/designer to build a clean, responsive website with a small set of page types and a system I can manage long-term. The structure is clear, the content is static once posted, and I have no need for accounts, forms, or dynamic interactivity.

I’m not in a rush. I’d rather work with someone who builds carefully, documents cleanly, and hands off something I can maintain without stress.

Project Scope:

You’ll design and build the following:

1. Welcome Page

Simple layout with an image and site name

Font changes randomly on each page load via lightweight JavaScript

1. Homepage

Featured content section at top

Archive grid of older featured content below

Footer with basic info and newsletter signup

Logo text that periodically changes fonts while user is on the page

1. Reusable Content Page Template

This will be used by me to add one new topic page per month. Each page will include:

Header image and short description

Links to podcast and playlist (hosted externally)

Accordion (~100 items), populated from spreadsheet data

Collapsible transcript section

Footer

1. Basic Info/About Page

Simple static page for site background and contact info

1. (Optional) Full Archive Page

Depending on homepage design, I may also want a separate page listing all published content pages

Technical Requirements:

No user accounts, form logic, or backend processing — this is a content-first site

Pages are static once posted — no need for real-time updates

Accordion content should be easy to populate from spreadsheet data (via CMS or import process)

Clean, mobile-friendly design

Font-switching handled with lightweight JavaScript

Deliverables:

A fully functioning website with the pages above

Accordion and font behaviors working cleanly

A system I can use to add new content pages monthly (via template, CMS, or documented workflow)

Optional: short guide or walkthrough on how to update/manage site content

Timeline:

I’m not in a rush — flexible over the next 4–6+ weeks. Quality and manageability matter more to me than speed.

Budget:

Looking for proposals in the $1,000–$3,000 USD range. Open to developers who can work efficiently with clear specs and a thoughtful, maintainable build.
