Designer for Project Launch Sites & Substack Setup
Overview:
I’m launching a nonfiction book, a newsletter, a documentary, a financial project, and a publishing brand — all under one roof.
I need someone who can design and build five simple, high-trust websites, mostly using Webflow, and help set up one branded Substack newsletter. Most of these sites are 1–3 pages, but they need to look clean, modern, and cohesive. Fast-loading, mobile-friendly, easy to maintain.
I’m not looking for template reskins. I’m looking for someone who knows how to design from scratch, lay things out well, and build sites that feel purposeful and cinematic.
⸻
What I Need Built:
- Book Website (3 pages)
• Homepage: book cover, trailer, blurbs, buy links
• About the Book
• Author Bio / Contact
- Newsletter Site (Substack, 1–2 pages)
• Set up a branded Substack newsletter
• Customize layout, color, typography, and intro text
• Connect custom domain (PhoenixLetter.co)
• Ensure posts go out via email and live on the site
- Film Landing Page (1 page)
• Poster, logline, teaser (optional), email capture
- Financial Venture Site (1 page)
• One-page institutional site with mission and optional contact
- Publishing Imprint Site (1 page)
• Intro to the imprint + links to book/film/newsletter
⸻
Ideal Candidate:
• You design first, then build — preferably using Webflow
• You have experience building sites for authors, books, films, or brands
• You’re comfortable setting up and customizing Substack
• You know how to use white space, good type, and layout for trust and clarity
• You’re responsive, reliable, and able to work in phases
⸻
❌ Please Don’t Apply If:
• You only work from templates
• You don’t design layouts (or can’t show ones you’ve made from scratch)
• You outsource the work or ghost on communication
• You’re juggling too many projects to give this real attention
⸻
To Apply, Please Include:
2–3 Webflow sites you designed and built (not template swaps)
Why you think Webflow (and Substack) are the right fit
A rough breakdown of how you’d structure this project in phases
Your rate and availability to start

This is a real launch with multiple moving parts. If you’re someone who takes pride in clear, clean work — and likes helping bring meaningful projects to life — I’d love to talk.
