Shopify Integration Developer
I have a landing page built on Webflow that redirects customers to my Shopify store to complete their purchase.
I need a developer experienced in both Webflow and Shopify to fix three specific issues that my current Webflow developer couldn’t solve.
Here are the 4 issues to fix:
1 - Product gallery thumbnails not updating on mobile
On mobile, I have a main image gallery with a row of thumbnail previews below it.
When I scroll the main gallery to the right, the thumbnails should update in batches of 4 images (e.g., if I’m viewing image #6, I should see thumbnails 4–8).
Currently, on mobile, the thumbnails always stay stuck showing the first 4 images, even when viewing later images in the gallery.
This issue has already been fixed on desktop, but not on mobile.
2 - No visual indication for the selected thumbnail (mobile + desktop)
When a user clicks on a thumbnail, there should be a clear style (e.g., a thick black border) indicating that this thumbnail is currently active and displayed in the main gallery.
Right now, there’s no active state, so users can’t tell which thumbnail is selected.
3 - Add to Cart button too small (desktop + mobile)
The Shopify-generated “Add to Cart” button is too small and not user-friendly on both desktop and mobile.
My developer mentioned this might be due to the limitations of the Shopify Buy Button iframe, but I want a solution to make it bigger, more clickable, and better styled like on my figma.
If necessary, you can use a different method such as the Storefront API or a fully custom button, but it must keep all tracking and Shopify redirection intact.
4 - Quantity selector missing
Currently, there’s no functional quantity selector that lets customers choose how many units they want before adding to cart. My dev could add one but the design was ugly and didn’t match the Figma, so I told him to remove it.
He managed to add a quantity selector, but it was stuck right next to the “Add to Cart” button, which is not what I have in my Figma. On top of that, instead of working like most websites where you just tap the “+” icon to increase the quantity, you had to manually change the quantity yourself.
So, I removed it.
I need a working quantity selector integrated with the Add to Cart function so it updates correctly in Shopify and that is the same as on my figma.
