Figma to SEO-Focused CMS Web Developer

Role Summary.

You will be responsible for converting Figma designs into responsive, SEO-optimized, CMS-powered Webflow builds that meet exact specifications. You’ll work across projects involving standard Webflow, Shopify-to-Webflow integrations, and headless builds using middleware like Liquify or Smoothify.

This role requires deep understanding of Webflow interactions, motion design, and custom JavaScript functionality. You’ll work closely with designers and strategists to deliver clean, scalable builds that follow best practices in naming, responsiveness, and accessibility.

What You'll Do

-Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect Webflow builds

  • Follow Client-First naming conventions and structural methodology

  • Build fully responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile

  • Implement Webflow CMS with conditional logic and dynamic content structures

  • Add **custom animations and interactions using Webflow and native JavaScript

  • Read and integrate third-party documentation/APIs (e.g., email popups, reviews, carts, etc.)

  • Work with Shopify integration middleware (Liquify, Smoothify)

  • Collaborate on headless builds and e-commerce setups

  • Structure builds for SEO best practices: correct heading hierarchy, alt text, semantic HTML

  • QA every build to match Figma exactly—no visual deviation allowed.

  • Deliver projects on time with clear communication and attention to edge cases.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Webflow development experience (Client-First expertise required)

  • Strong front-end JavaScript skills (DOM manipulation, API integration, logic handling)

  • Proven ability to interpret and implement documentation and 3rd-party integrations

  • Advanced experience with Webflow CMS and complex conditional logic

  • Ability to implement motion design and custom animations inside Webflow

  • Pixel-perfect fidelity with high attention to spacing, typography, and interaction states.

  • SEO fluency: semantic layout, accessibility, metadata, headings

  • Clear and prompt communicator who can troubleshoot and explain dev decisions

  • Experience with Shopify, including how to mirror its structure/functionality in Webflow

  • Relume or similar Webflow component libraries

Work Structure & Expectations

  • This is a project-based or retainer-based contractor role.

  • Weekly deadlines based on scope

  • Multiple builds per month across diverse clients

  • High-priority projects receive direct oversight and quality control

  • Communication via Slack, ClickUp, and Loom
