Contract Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer on a contract basis to build a website for a newly formed company. This role involves end-to-end development, from planning and design to deployment. The ideal candidate is proficient in modern web development tools, platforms, and frameworks, and is well-versed in hosting options, website security best practices, and responsive design.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a professional, responsive website aligned with brand guidelines

Recommend and implement the best tools, frameworks, and CMS options

Advise on and set up secure, scalable hosting solutions

Ensure implementation of industry-standard website security measures

Provide documentation and handoff support as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience designing and developing websites

Familiarity with various CMS (e.g., WordPress, Webflow) and hosting platforms

Knowledge of web security (SSL, firewalls, secure authentication, etc.)

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
