Navigation Active State Fix Specialist
Hi everyone
I need a Webflow expert to solve a simple navigation active state issue on my website. This is a small, focused task. The Problem
My website has main navigation: El Liceo, Académico, Admisiones, Vida Escolar
URL structure: /category/subcategory (e.g., /admision/visitas, /liceo/presentacion)
Subcategory active states already work perfectly (highlight in red)
Main category navigation items don't highlight based on current URL
What I Need
Main navigation items should highlight (red color) when user is on any page within that section
Example: When on /admision/visitas, the "Admisiones" main nav should be red
Active states must persist on page reload
Should work across all 4 main categories
Technical Details
Webflow site with existing navigation structure
Prefer Webflow native solution (Page Load interactions) over custom code
Simple styling change - just need to add/manage "active" class
Requirements
Experience with Webflow interactions or custom code
Understanding of URL-based active state management
Quick turnaround (this is a small fix)
Thank you in anticipation
