Immediate Need: Webflow Developer for Real-Time Edits & Long-Term Support
Overview
Hiring a Webflow front-end developer who can start immediately and work with me in real time over the next two weeks, with ongoing work after. We’ll use a running Google Doc that includes rationale for each change, specific edits, and example instructions. If there’s a better way to reach the same outcome, do it—I care about results (clean, responsive, maintainable), not the method.
Scope (Front-End Only | 2-Week Sprint)
Implement visual edits and new sections directly in Webflow
Pixel-clean layouts, styling, and responsive behavior (desktop/tablet/mobile)
Configure/maintain CMS Collections & Components with clear, semantic class naming
Build animations/interactions; add light custom code for embeds/attributes as needed
Basic on-page SEO hygiene (titles, meta, alt text, headings)
Provide concise feedback when an edit isn’t optimal, with a concrete alternative
Out of Scope (to avoid confusion)
Back-end engineering, server work, external databases
Complex API integrations or building custom apps
Full design from scratch or Figma work (not required)
Collaboration & Workflow
Google Doc: prioritized backlog with rationale, edits, screenshots, example instructions
US Eastern hour overlap for quick turnarounds (screen share or rapid back-and-forth)
Slack/Upwork chat + short Looms as needed
Update format in the Doc: Confirm → Implement → Suggest (if applicable)
Must-Haves
2+ years shipping production sites in Webflow (front-end)
Strong CMS/Collections and componentized builds; tidy class naming
Comfortable working live from a Google Doc and moving fast
Clear written communication; proposes better approaches when useful
Nice-to-Haves (optional)
Basic JS for attributes/custom embeds
Accessibility/performance sensibilities
Engagement
Hourly; ~10–20 hrs/week for 2 weeks to start
Likely long-term partnership after the sprint
