Web Developer for Site Refinement & Membership Setup

About the project

We are a minimalist brand looking for an experienced Webflow developer to refine our current site and implement robust membership functionality. This role is hourly, beginning with a review of the existing Webflow build, followed by design and functional enhancements.

What you’ll do

•Audit and refine the current Webflow solution to identify design or technical issues and propose improvements. Implement design tweaks to maintain a minimalist aesthetic and improve usability.

• Implement membership and gated content using Memberstack. Configure two user types—Consumers (auto approved) and Business users (manual approval)—and build a sign up form with a role selector.

• Manage user approval workflows using Zapier, including admin notifications, manual approvals and follow up actions. Prepare placeholder steps for future email automation.

• Set up gating and conditional visibility using Memberstack attributes, ensuring that logged in consumers and approved Business users can view and purchase products, while guests or pending accounts see a disabled “Buy” button or login prompt.

• Customise Memberstack modals and forms to match the site’s look (typography, spacing and colours). This also applies to any cart or checkout interactions.

• Test registration and purchase flows for Consumers and Business users on both desktop and mobile. Confirm that the checkout process, payments and gating rules work smoothly, and address any UI inconsistencies.

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience with Webflow’s e commerce and design tools; comfortable customising pages and checkout experiences.

• Expertise with Memberstack (or a similar membership platform) to set up user authentication, gated content and payment flows.

• Familiarity with Zapier for automating approval and notification workflows.

• Strong front end design skills and the ability to adjust layouts, typography and spacing to maintain a minimalist feel.

• A systematic approach to auditing existing sites and documenting improvements.

• Willingness to work on an hourly basis with clear communication and updates.
