Chatbot Demo Page Developer with API Integration
We’re looking for a Webflow developer to build one small, self-contained demo page on our existing website.
This page will be used for conference demonstrations and does not require any complex backend work, authentication, or CMS integration.
The API (AI chatbot) is already built and working — this task is frontend-only.
Scope of Work
- Page Setup
Create a hidden Webflow page at:
/student-coach-demo
Page should:
Not appear in site navigation
Be set to noindex
Match the existing site’s minimalist style (fonts, spacing, colours)
- Layout & UI
Simple, clean layout including:
Short heading and intro text
A small set of buttons to select a “mode” (e.g. Overwhelmed, Goal Setting, etc.)
A basic chat-style interface:
Message display area
Text input field
Send button
Loading / “thinking” state
Mobile-first and responsive
No advanced UI animations or styling required.
- API Connection
Connect the page to an existing external POST API endpoint (provided)
Send and receive JSON only
Display the API response in the chat window
Conversation state should be handled in-browser only (no storage, no login, no database)
We will provide:
The API endpoint
The exact payload structure
Example requests/responses
Out of Scope
No user accounts or authentication
No backend or server-side work
No CMS collections
No analytics
No database or long-term storage

Deliverable
A fully working demo page on Webflow
Page successfully sends messages to the API and displays responses
Tested on desktop and mobile
Nice to Have (not required)
Basic error handling if the API is unavailable
Clean, readable JavaScript added via Webflow Embed or custom code
If this all sounds good, we’re ready to proceed immediately and will share the endpoint and test details as soon as the contract is in place.
