Meta Pixel & GA4 Setup Specialist for Shopify and Webflow Sites
We have a new Shopify site that is launching in October that we need GA4 and Meta Pixel installed on. We also have a Webflow site where people will click through and purchase on the Shopify site.
Scope of Work:
On Webflow (Listicle):
-Install Meta Pixel base code site-wide.
-Track outbound clicks from Webflow → Shopify as a custom event.
-Ensure UTM parameters are properly appended and carried over to Shopify product links.
-Install GA4 base code and confirm pageviews/events are firing.
On Shopify (Store):
-Install Meta Pixel using Shopify’s native Facebook integration.
-Enable and configure Conversions API (CAPI) for server-side event tracking.
-Verify standard Pixel events (PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase) are firing correctly with correct values (order ID, revenue, etc.).
-Install GA4 through Shopify’s integration or via Google Tag Manager.
-Confirm GA4 eCommerce events (view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase) are firing with proper revenue and product data.
Attribution & Reporting:
-Ensure UTMs + fbclid pass through from Webflow to Shopify orders.
-Test events in Meta Events Manager and confirm they are de-duplicated between Pixel and CAPI.
-Provide documentation/checklist so we can replicate the setup for future campaigns.
Deliverable:
-A fully working end-to-end tracking system where:
-Meta can attribute purchases correctly back to ads.
-UTMs are consistent and visible in Shopify order details.
-Pixel and Conversions API are verified for purchase events.
-GA4 tracks the full funnel (listicle engagement → product views → checkout → purchase).
