Marketing Site Rebuild and Strategy Lead - HubSpot/Headless CMS Expert

We’re a bootstrapped startup looking to rebuild our outdated WordPress marketing website.

We’re considering three paths: HubSpot CMS, Webflow, or a Headless CMS + modern frontend (e.g., Sanity + Next.js).

We already use HubSpot extensively (CRM, forms, email marketing), so deeper integration has appeal. At the same time, we want a fast, modern, easily editable site that scales with us—design flexibility, performance, and long-term ownership are key.

🔍 Phase 1 – Strategy & Assessment:

We’re looking for an experienced contractor who can help us evaluate the best-fit platform for our needs by assessing:

How each option supports our marketing team’s need to easily manage and update content

Tradeoffs in design freedom, performance, and SEO

HubSpot integration depth (forms, tracking, CTAs) in Webflow and Headless

Developer effort vs marketer autonomy

Long-term flexibility and cost considerations

We’d like a clear, concise recommendation (written or Loom) comparing:

HubSpot CMS

Webflow

Headless CMS + Frontend (e.g., Sanity + Next.js or similar)

Please include a rough idea of the effort, cost, and timeline for each option.

🔨 Phase 2 – Implementation (Optional Extension):

If we align on a direction, we’d consider continuing into implementation:

Rebuild or redesign site using selected tech stack

Migrate content and preserve SEO (301 redirects, metadata, sitemaps)

Implement HubSpot integrations (forms, chat, CRM sync)

Enable non-technical content editing and scalable architecture

✅ Ideal Candidate:

Strong experience with HubSpot CMS, Webflow, and Headless CMS + frontend frameworks (e.g., Sanity, Contentful, Next.js)

Understands tradeoffs between marketing usability and dev flexibility

Can communicate clearly and pragmatically—no fluff

Bonus: Experience migrating from WordPress and working with startups

⏱️ Scope & Timeline:

Phase 1: Consultation (3–5 hours max) – deliver within 24 hours

Phase 2: Implementation – high speed implementation within 1 week (will compensate accordingly)
