Senior Developer for ADA-Compliant Landing Pages, Miami
Contract Duration: 4–6 months
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Miami, FL
About the Role:
We're supporting a leading brand in shifting from Sitecore to Webflow for the production of weekly landing pages. The client owns the ADA audit process and provides a list of accessibility issues that must be resolved before each page goes live. We’re looking for a senior-level Webflow developer who can build custom components, implement JavaScript-based fixes, and address accessibility gaps with confidence and independence.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain highly customized landing pages using Webflow
• Translate accessibility issues identified in client-provided ADA audits into actionable technical fixes.
• Replace or modify native Webflow components (e.g., sliders, carousels) to meet accessibility requirements
• Use JavaScript, ARIA attributes, and DOM manipulation to address screen reader, tab order, and focus state issues
• Ensure compatibility with 400% zoom, keyboard navigation, and screen readers (e.g., VoiceOver, NVDA)
• Collaborate with internal designers and developers to build reusable, ADA-compliant CMS components
Must-Have Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Webflow (design and development)
Strong front-end development background (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM)
• Experience implementing accessibility best practices, especially in response to audit feedback
Ability to resolve issues like incorrect tab order, invisible focus states, and screen reader misalignment
• Comfort working independently to interpret issue descriptions and deliver compliant solutions
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with Swiper.js or similar libraries for accessible sliders/carousels
• Experience integrating CMS-driven components from Figma designs
• Experience embedding accessibility into reusable component libraries within Webflow
Familiarity with accessibility tools (e.g., WAVE, axe, Lighthouse)
