Senior CMS Developer
We’re looking for a technically strong Webflow developer - someone who understands how to structure scalable CMS builds, write clean custom code within Webflow where needed, and optimise for performance and responsiveness. You’ll be responsible for keeping our site fast, flexible, and brand-consistent - across both static content and dynamic CMS-driven pages.
⚠️ This is a pure Webflow role, but we expect more than drag-and-drop. You should be confident handling complex CMS logic, performance issues, and real-world implementation challenges.
Role & Responsibilities
Webflow Development: Build and maintain pages using clean structure, clear naming, and visual consistency.
CMS Structuring: Design scalable CMS collections (e.g. for speakers, agendas, sponsors) with proper relationships and conditional logic.
Performance Optimisation: Optimise page load times and Core Web Vitals (especially LCP) through layout strategy, asset handling, and script management.
Custom Code Integration: Inject clean HTML/CSS/JS when needed — e.g. client-side filtering, third-party embeds, layout fixes.
QA & Testing: Ensure pixel-perfect execution across devices and screen sizes, including handling real content (not just placeholder text).
Automation-Ready Structure: Build in a way that supports CMS updates via Airtable, Make.com, or Zapier integrations.
Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and ops to scope and ship site updates quickly.
Documentation & Handoff: Leave behind clear structure, naming logic, and guidance to ensure others can maintain your work.
Required Qualifications

Mastery of Webflow CMS, including nested collections and multi-reference fields
Comfort with writing custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript inside Webflow when needed
Strong understanding of site performance, Core Web Vitals, and best practices
Demonstrated experience with pixel-perfect Figma implementation
Familiarity with automation tools like Airtable, Make.com, or Zapier
Excellent attention to detail, QA mindset, and structured naming practices
Responsive communicator — flags issues early, works independently, and documents clearly
Preferred (but Not Required)
Experience using Finsweet Attributes, Relume Library, or your own component/naming systems
You’ve created internal tools or dashboards that update Webflow CMS via automation
You’ve worked on large-scale Webflow builds with thousands of CMS items
You’re comfortable with staging environments and careful rollouts
