Startup Seeks Creative Designer for Campus App
Job Description:
We’re building Arvoa — a first-of-its-kind, real-time campus app designed to connect students, keep them updated on campus life, and help them discover what’s happening on and around their college. Think college meets Waze — instant updates, campus events, dining hall waits, student posts, and more — all in one place.
We’re looking for a creative, reliable website designer/developer who can help us design and launch a high-quality website that communicates our mission, excites students, and builds credibility with universities and parents.
⸻
What We Need Built:
• A modern, clean website (preferably Webflow, but open to Squarespace or WordPress if you recommend it).
• Pages to include:
Landing/Homepage (value prop, app features, CTA to download).
How It Works (screenshots, walk-through).
For Students (why use it).
For Parents/Universities (safety + community benefits).
About Us (founder story + mission).
Contact / Partnerships.
• Integration with email capture / newsletter signups.
• SEO-friendly setup.
• Smooth, mobile-first design (90%+ of users will be on mobile).
⸻
Who We’re Looking For:
• Experience designing startup / SaaS / mobile app websites.
• Someone who understands youth/student-focused design — fun, clean, engaging (not corporate or boring).
• Strong eye for visuals, animations, and branding.
• Able to collaborate on refining our brand identity deck (colors, fonts, vibe).
⸻
Budget:
We’re early stage but serious about quality. Open to proposals in the $1,000–$3,000 range, depending on experience and scope.
⸻
How to Apply:
Please share:
• Links to 3–5 websites you’ve designed (preferably for apps, startups, or student-focused products).
• A quick note on why you’d be excited to help launch Arvoa.
