Webflow Expert for Tweaks, Builds & Long-Term Collaboration

Project Description

Looking for a Webflow expert (truly top-level) to work on existing websites and, in the long run, build new Webflow sites from scratch for my B2B clients.

The main website is ~90% done; what's left are design details, UX/UI refinements, animations, responsive polishing, CMS setup and performance tweaks.

The goal is to find my go-to Webflow dev for my agency, for a long-term relationship, who works fast, clean and autonomously.

Short-term missions (paid test)

On 2 existing Webflow websites, you will:

Do micro design tweaks (spacing, alignment, visual consistency, typography hierarchy).

Improve UX/UI: cleaner sections, better readability, smoother user journey, with clear and reasoned suggestions.

Fix / finalize responsiveness (desktop, tablet, mobile).

Work with Webflow CMS (collections, templates, dynamic content display).

Set up or refine interactions & animations (micro-interactions, scroll, hover) without overdoing it.

Optimize performance (image weights, lazy-load, clean structure, decent Core Web Vitals).

These first tasks will be a paid test to see how we work together and if you can become my "official" Webflow developer.

Mid / long-term missions

If the test goes well, you will:

Build complete Webflow sites from scratch for new clients (structure, layout, design, CMS, interactions, responsive).

Take over and maintain other Webflow projects from the agency (new sections, new landing pages, ongoing improvements).

Implement SEO recommendations provided by my SEO expert (basic on-page technical setup in Webflow: title/description tags, H-structure, redirects, etc.), without defining the SEO strategy yourself.

This is a long-term collaboration: several new sites are planned for 2026.

Ideal Profile

You are a Webflow expert: you master the Designer, CMS, interactions and can show professional live Webflow sites you've built.

Strong UX/UI sense: you don't just execute tasks; you propose smart improvements and justify your choices.

You work fast, you are responsive, and you don't spend 1 hour on a 5-minute task.

You are autonomous: you understand the context, suggest a solution, then execute without asking 20 unnecessary questions.

You are comfortable in English or French (English is fine if your Webflow level is top-notch).

Bonus: you know performance best practices and basic technical SEO in Webflow (but you're not expected to be the SEO strategist).

Important: this is not a one-off gig. I'm looking for a long-term, trusted partner.

Collaboration & Communication

Communication mainly asynchronous: Upwork messages (or similar) + Loom to explain tasks.

No specific tools required as long as your communication is clear, structured and reasonably fast.

A short kickoff call can happen if needed, but the idea is to avoid unnecessary meetings.

How to Apply

Please start your proposal with "Webflow-Alpha" (otherwise your application will not be considered).

In your message, please include:

2–3 links to Webflow websites that YOU built (explain what you did: design, development, animations, CMS, etc.).

One example of a micro-tweak or UX/UI improvement you would typically make on a B2B website that is "90% done but not truly polished".

A short explanation of how you handle small recurring tasks: how you stay fast, responsive and autonomous.
