ROLE OVERVIEW

Title: Hybrid UX/UI Web Designer + Developer (Framer/Webflow + WordPress)

Type: Freelance/Contract (with potential to join team)

Company: Cultivation

Start: ASAP

Compensation: Capped at $2,500 total for both projects. (Open to negotiation)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a talented hybrid designer/developer who can take websites from idea to launch — clean, modern UX/UI, built in Framer/Webflow and WordPress.

You’ll be working directly with our founder, Nathan, to build two simple websites for a high-impact academic client. If it goes well, you’ll become our go-to builder for all future client work.

PROJECTS

  1. Personal Brand Website (Framer, Webflow or Alternative)
  • For a university professor. Should feel modern, clean, and research-driven with a simple chatbot, resource repository, and Google Calendar embed. Will require light UX mockups before development. Has an afro-centric theme. Website built from scratch.
  1. Grant-Based Alliance Website (WordPress)
  • For a school-based mental health alliance at a university. Institutional feel, accessible, easy to maintain with a custom WordPress theme or flexible builder like Elementor or Kadence. Site is already built out, it's just blank and needs design/development.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Design homepage + a few subpage layouts in Figma or directly in Framer/Webflow

  • Build out fully responsive websites in chosen platforms

  • Handle CMS setup and backend cleanup

  • Embed chatbot, calendar, and basic form integrations

Join Zoom calls a few times with client (Nathan leads)

  • Prepare simple backend documentation or Loom videos for client training. (Founder will help)

YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU

  • Have 3+ years of UX/UI and web development experience

  • Have clean, modern, mobile-first design instincts

  • Can deliver full websites in Framer, Webflow, and WordPress

  • Are comfortable on Zoom and communicating clearly with clients

  • Are reliable, deliver on time, and love clean execution

  • Bonus: experience with grant-funded or academic work

BUDGET & TIMELINE

  • Budget: $2,500+

  • Timeline: 4-6 weeks

  • Start: ASAP

  • Final delivery: Around the end of July (training + buffer included)
