Ghost CMS API Integration Developer
We’re looking for an experienced Webflow developer with API integration expertise to help us dynamically display the latest blog posts from our Ghost CMS on the homepage of our Webflow site.
The blog section should pull in the three most recent posts, match our site’s existing CSS styles, and filter content by specific tags we define—so we have control over what shows on the homepage.
Project Scope:
Integrate our Ghost CMS with Webflow to show the three most recent blog posts, filtered by one or more specific tags that we choose.
Display the title, featured image, and a short excerpt for each post, linking to the full blog article.
Ensure the section automatically updates when new posts matching the tag(s) are published.
Must inherit the site’s existing CSS styles to maintain visual consistency.
Preferred methods:
Using the Ghost Content API to fetch and filter posts by tag.
Alternatively, using the RSS feed (if filtered feeds are an option) to sync with Webflow’s CMS.
The solution should be responsive and performant.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong experience with Webflow development and structure
Proven ability to integrate REST APIs (especially working with dynamic content)
Familiar with Ghost CMS or similar headless content platforms
Skilled in writing JavaScript to handle API requests and rendering
Able to work with and respect existing Webflow CSS classes and layout
Bonus: experience with content filtering or conditional rendering in Webflow
Deliverables:
A working blog section that dynamically displays 3 posts from Ghost, filtered by tag(s) we define.
Content that blends seamlessly with the site’s existing styling.
Clear documentation for how to update tag filters or adjust settings later.
Any scripts or code well-organized and easy to maintain.
