GCP Migration Manager & Integrator for Startup
Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) engineer to help migrate all growth-related infrastructure from our main GCP project (currently shared with product and dev resources) into a new, dedicated Growth GCP project.
We’re a startup working on a cofounder-matching mobile app, and this move is part of our broader effort to streamline environments across Dev, Product, and Growth teams.
Scope of Work:
Audit and identify all growth-related resources in the existing GCP project
Migrate the following (growth-specific only):
Cloud Functions
Cloud Scheduler Jobs
Pub/Sub Topics and Subscriptions
Google Cloud Storage Buckets
BigQuery Tables & Datasets
IAM roles and service accounts used by growth-related services.
Recreate and deploy all necessary components in the new GCP project with parity in config and permissions.
Ensure triggers and interdependencies are preserved (e.g., Scheduler triggering Pub/Sub - Function - BigQuery).
Help with updating all Webflow-based API calls and links (e.g., APIs that call GCP Functions, GCS files, endpoints tied to the original project).
Assist in reconfiguring any API keys, service URLs, or access tokens as needed in Webflow and frontend code.
Test and validate end-to-end connectivity, data pipelines, and cron jobs post-migration.
Support documentation of the new architecture and handoff.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (specifically Functions, Pub/Sub, Scheduler, GCS, and BigQuery).
Comfortable working with IAM policies, environment variables, and service account roles.
Familiar with frontend/backend integrations using GCP (bonus if you’ve worked with Webflow before).
Has previously done infrastructure migrations or project separations in GCP environments.
Deliverables:
Fully migrated and operational growth infrastructure in the new GCP project.
Webflow environment successfully updated with new endpoints and API references.
Clear documentation of what was moved, and how to maintain and operate it going forward.
