Backend API & Make.com Integration Expert
Project Overview
I’m looking for a professional backend developer to set up data synchronization between our database and Webflow CMS for a project called BALAM.
BALAM is already fully designed on the frontend.
Your role is strictly backend logic and API integration.
No UI, no layout, no design decisions.
⸻
Working Terms & Access (Non-Negotiable)
Please read carefully. These are hard requirements.
API-Only Access
You will NOT be granted access to the Webflow Designer.
All work must be done exclusively via the Webflow API Token.
I personally handle all UI/UX, layout, and CMS structure.
Stack Requirement
• Make.com (Integromat) ONLY
• n8n or any self-hosted alternatives are NOT allowed
• Suggesting a different stack after the contract starts will result in immediate termination
Ownership
• All scenarios must be built directly inside my Make.com account
• I must retain full ownership, visibility, and control of all automations
Communication
• All communication must remain inside Upwork
• Direct contact with any other project stakeholders is strictly prohibited
⸻
The Task
You will:
• Map fields from our data source to Webflow CMS using a detailed CMS Architecture Map (provided after hiring)
• Set up automated synchronization for:
Listings
Activities
Cities
• Implement “Plan Type” logic to correctly pass data that triggers Conditional Visibility in Webflow
• Ensure correct handling of:
Map coordinates
Multi-image fields
Maintain clean, reliable, and predictable data flow via API
⸻
Requirements
You must have:
• Proven experience with Webflow CMS API
• Strong expertise in building complex Make.com scenarios
• Ability to work independently using documentation and API keys only
• Zero need for UI access or design involvement
⸻
How to Apply (Important)
To apply, start your cover letter with the word:
LOGIC
Applications without this word will be ignored.
Applications that suggest n8n or alternative stacks will be ignored.
⸻
Verification Question (Mandatory)
To ensure you are not a bot and have actually read the requirements, answer this in your cover letter:
In Webflow, if I need to sync a “Multi-Image” field via Make.com, what format should the image data be in?
And how would you handle a “Plan Type” field that must trigger Conditional Visibility for three different tiers (Free, Business, Premium)?
