Front End Web Developer
Our FinTech client is looking for a Front End Web Developer to support their team for 12 months, 40 hours/week! Preference to candidates who can come onsite in San Jose, CA twice a week. Remote candidates will be considered.
The Ideal Front End Web Developer Should Have
• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Webflow.
• A track record of demonstrating empathy for internal and external users.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of responsive design principles.
• Experience implementing A/B testing results into production environments.
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and experience creating accessible web solutions.
• Ability to create scalable, reusable design components and implement web design systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for collaborating with design teams.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Experience with CMS integrations and third-party tools.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• A demonstrated sense of empathy for internal and external users.
Responsibilities
• Build, maintain, and optimize web pages using Webflow, ensuring they align with design specifications and performance goals.
• Develop and optimize web experiences for a variety of devices and screen sizes, ensuring consistency and usability across platforms.
• Work with the marketing and analytics teams to integrate A/B testing results into the website, iterating on designs based on performance metrics.
• Ensure all web pages meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1), providing an inclusive experience for all users.
• Collaborate with the production team to create and implement scalable, reusable design components that align with our branding and UX guidelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Continuously improve site speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience through best practices in front-end development.
• Conduct thorough testing of web pages to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
