Design Engineer Minimal Portfolio Webflow Website Template
Lately is a minimal portfolio template for design engineers, with a split bio and project layout, video-led work, and light and dark modes.
About template
Lately uses a spacious two-column layout, with a narrow biography panel on the left and a wider project feed on the right. Small, understated sans-serif text keeps the profile and project details easy to scan. The light background contrasts with dark project imagery, while previews bring in varied colors and textures, including a close-up keyboard against green grass and a 3D scene. A light and dark mode toggle gives visitors a choice of appearance.
The template suits design engineers, creative developers, product and web designers, freelancers, and motion or 3D artists. It includes Home, About, Works, project detail, Blog, blog post, and Contact pages, plus a Style Guide and Instructions page. CMS collections support project galleries, videos, categories, and journal posts. Projects can open in a dialog with arrows and shareable links, while videos play when in view. Editable interactions, Webflow Variables, forms, and reduced-motion support round out the portfolio.
